Your trust, plainly stated.
No legal maze, no fine print buried in jargon. This page explains exactly what information our website collects, where it goes, and how to ask us to change or delete it — in the same plain language we use everywhere else.
Effective date: June 10, 2026
Serenity House Assisted Living respects the families who reach out to us, beginning with the information you choose to share. This policy covers the website at serenityhouseassistedliving.com, operated by Serenity Homes Assisted Living, Inc., 9614 Swan Lake Dr, Granite Bay, CA 95746.
The short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, we use it only to respond to you and send the updates you asked for, and we never sell it. The details follow.
What our forms collect — and why
Our website has three forms, and each one asks only for what we need to respond:
- Waitlist form — your name, email address, an optional phone number, and who you are exploring care for. We use it to keep you informed as our Fall 2026 opening approaches.
- Private visit form — your name, email address, an optional phone number, a preferred tour window, your care timeframe, and an optional note, so we can arrange your private preview tour of the home.
- Pricing request form — who you are exploring care for, your timeframe, your name and email address, and an optional phone number and note, so we can send you our pricing details personally.
We never ask for medical information, financial account details, or anything about your parent's health through this website. Each form also contains a hidden field used only to block automated spam; real visitors never see or fill it.
Where your information lives
Form submissions are delivered and stored by Basin, the form service that powers this site. From Basin, we periodically export submissions to a private spreadsheet and to MailerLite, the service we use to send email updates. Access is limited to the small team operating Serenity House. We do not store your information anywhere else, and this website sets no advertising trackers.
Analytics
Today this site runs no analytics at all and sets no cookies. Before opening, we plan to enable Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use this site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use. When we do, it will be configured with IP anonymization, never used for advertising or to build profiles of individual visitors, and noted here with a revised effective date. You can opt out of Google Analytics across the web with Google's browser opt-out. Beyond those future analytics cookies, the site will continue to set no cookies of its own.
Email updates — only with your consent
Every form on this site carries the same consent line: “We'll send occasional updates about Serenity House; unsubscribe anytime.” We mean both halves. Updates are occasional — news about the home's progress, our opening timeline, and tour availability — and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the updates immediately and does not affect any place you hold on our interest list.
What we will never do
- We never sell, rent, or trade your information — not to senior-living referral services, lead brokers, advertisers, or anyone else.
- We never share your information with third parties, except the service providers named above (Basin, MailerLite, Google Analytics) who process it on our behalf, or where the law requires it.
- We never use your information for purposes you didn't ask for.
Updating or deleting your information
You may ask us at any time to correct the information you've shared, tell you what we hold about you, or delete it entirely. Simply send a note through any form on this site — the visit page works well — saying what you'd like done, and we will confirm once it's complete, normally within ten business days. California residents are welcome to exercise any rights available to them under California privacy law the same way; we honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live.
Children
This website is written for adults researching a residence for a parent or loved one. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, when our phone line and email address go live ahead of opening — we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be noted plainly here rather than buried in revisions.
A website everyone can use
Many of the people who visit this site are in their 50s, 60s, and beyond, and some browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, or enlarged text. We built serenityhouseassistedliving.com to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we test against that standard before publishing changes.
In practice, that means:
- Text colors meet AA contrast requirements against their backgrounds.
- Every page can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Every form field has a proper label, and images carry meaningful alternative text.
- Animations are disabled automatically for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
If anything on this site is hard for you to read, navigate, or use, we genuinely want to know. Please describe the barrier in a note through any form on this site — the visit page is the quickest route — and we will work to fix it promptly and follow up with you directly.
